The Hubble Telescope is an amazing piece of machinery that orbits our planet, pointed outward towards the vastness of space, collecting light from minutes to days at a time. Hubble photographs distant galaxies, nebulae, stars, and other objects. The photos on this site were taken by the Hubble telescope, and are free for use from the gallery of Hubblesite. The individual photos were then put into collages to create the banners for each page on the Spirits in Spacesuits site.
